What have I been getting myself into?
Livestrong Challenge San Jose 2010
This past July I rode over 50 miles and raised over $3,200 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. My brother’s friend lent me a phenomenal bike and I actually tweeted throughout the day. While I could not see the tweets people were sending me at the time somehow I felt the love and support flowing throughout the day. So many times I wanted to quit, but I knew I had to keep on going. People were counting on me.
Unfortunately I did not take a lot of pictures, but the ones I did manage to snap are posted online. You can check out the gallery or view a slideshow.

- Dedicated to Ugo Veri
- Never Give Up
I dedicated this bike ride to a family friend, Ugo Veri who was battling a very severe cancer. Sadly, Ugo lost his battle a short time later, but he left behind a wonderful family and a legacy as a warm, gentle and kind person who was loved by all who knew him. We will never forget him.
